1.4024 1.4021 seamless stainless steel tubing
The steel grade 1.4021(also called ASTM 420 and SS2303) is a high tensile strength martensitic stainless steel with good corrosion properties. The steel is machinable and suits good for production of details with good resistance to e.g. air water steam, freshwater, certain alkaline solutions and other mildly aggressive chemicals.
The 1.4024-grade stainless steel is basic martensitic steel with slightly increased hardenability. The 1.4024 steel grade is mildly corrosion resistant and will stand up well against water and steam. Under the annealed conditions, the stainless steel can be hardened up to a maximum of 225 HB with a tensile strength of 750 N/mm².
