Description
ASTM A269 standard applies to seamless and welded austenitic stainless steel pipes for general use, covering stainless steel pipes of nominal wall thickness grades for general corrosion resistance and low or high temperature applications.
ASTM A269 stainless steel precision pipe specifications produced by GNEE usually start from 1/4 inch (6.4 mm) inner diameter and have a wall thickness of 0.020 inch (0.51 mm) and above. Mechanical property requirements do not apply to pipes less than 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) inner diameter or 0.015 inch (0.38 mm) thickness. It can also be further processed into bright annealed pipes, sanitary pipes, etc. to meet the stringent requirements of food, medical, chemical and other industries.
