Alloy 2507 is a superduplex stainless steel containing 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel, designed for demanding applications requiring superior strength and corrosion resistance, such as chemical processing, petrochemical and seawater equipment. The steel has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, high thermal conductivity and a low coefficient of thermal expansion.
2205 is a 22% Cr duplex stainless steel supplied in the solution annealed condition with improved machinability as standard. As a duplex stainless steel, it combines the ideal properties of austenitic and ferritic steel grades.
