GNEE offers 316 (UNS S31600 / EN 1.4401) and 316L (UNS S31603 / EN 1.4404) austenitic stainless steel plates manufactured in strict accordance with major international standards such as ASTM A240/A480, ASME SA240, EN 10028-7, JIS G4305, and GB/T 4237, ensuring global project compatibility and full material traceability.
Our 316/316L stainless steel plates are available in two primary production categories to meet diverse industrial requirements. For structural and heavy-duty applications, we supply hot-rolled medium and thick plates with thicknesses ranging from 4.5 mm to 100 mm, widths of 1500–2500 mm, and lengths of 6000–12000 mm. For precision fabrication and lighter applications, we provide cold-rolled thin plates with thicknesses of 0.3–4.5 mm, widths of 1000–2000 mm, and lengths of 2000–6000 mm.
All plates are subjected to solution annealing at 1050–1100 °C to ensure optimal corrosion resistance and mechanical performance. Available surface finishes include No.1, 2B, BA, and No.4, along with customized treatments such as sandblasting and mirror polishing to meet specific aesthetic or functional requirements. Product forms cover coils, cut-to-length sheets, and customized profile plates, with a flexible minimum order quantity starting from 50 kg, supporting both bulk procurement and small-batch project needs.

What is the difference between 316L and 316 stainless steel?
Composition difference: 316L is an ultra-low carbon stainless steel with a carbon content of less than 0.03% and a high content of molybdenum and nickel; while 316 stainless steel has a carbon content of about 0.08% and a high content of chromium.
Heat resistance: 316L has better resistance to carbide precipitation and can be used in the range of 800-1575 degrees; 316 stainless steel is more suitable for intermittent use below 1600 degrees or continuous use below 1700 degrees, but avoid the range of 800-1575 degrees.
