1.4016 stainless steel, also known as 430 stainless steel, is a ferritic steel with a high chromium content and good corrosion resistance. It is suitable for use in household, industrial, transportation and other fields.

Processing properties of 430 stainless steel plate
It can be cold formed by bending, deep drawing, stretch forming and upsetting.
Due to its low work hardening rate, less force is required for forming, but vigorous forming operations should be avoided because ferritic stainless steel has lower ductility than austenitic stainless steel.
