201 Series J3 Stainless Steel Coil
Leave a message
GNEE can provide 201 J3 stainless steel coils that comply with international and domestic standards such as ASTM A240, GB/T 24511-2017, GB/T 3280, and JIS G 4305.
201 J3 stainless steel coil belongs to high-manganese, low-nickel austenitic stainless steel. Due to its relatively higher carbon content and lower copper content, its ductility is weaker than grades such as J1 and J4. It is not suitable for large-angle bending (such as >150°) or deep drawing applications, otherwise cracking or internal fractures may occur. Therefore, it is more suitable for decorative and structural applications that require strength, hardness, and good surface appearance, but do not involve complex forming processes.

We provide cold rolled 201 J3 stainless steel coils with thicknesses ranging from 0.08mm to 3.0mm and widths from 600mm to 1500mm. Multiple surface finishes are available, including 2B (matte finish), BA (bright finish), HL (hairline finish), No.4 (brushed finish), and 8K (mirror finish).
Surface treatment

In addition, we support value-added processing services such as slitting, leveling, cutting, and surface treatment. Both small trial orders (LCL) and full container load (FCL) shipments are available with flexible delivery times. Mill Test Certificates (MTC) can be provided for every batch to ensure full material traceability.

201 J3 Stainless Steel Coil Applications
Decorative Tubing: Straight pipes for handrails and window frames (minimal bending).
Structural Parts: Frames for furniture, racking systems, and shelving units.
Hardware: Low-end hinges, brackets, and simple stamped components.
Kitchen Accessories: Simple trays, racks, and items without deep-stretched shapes.
Construction: Indoor decorative strips and trim.
What is the differences between 201 J1 J2 J3 Stainless Steel Coil?
The 201 J-series stainless steel coils (J1, J2, J3, J4, J5) are variants differentiated by their carbon and copper content, which dictates their hardness, formability, and corrosion resistance. Generally, J4 has the highest copper and best deep-drawing performance (most expensive), J1 is the standard all-rounder, and J2/J3 are higher-carbon, harder, and better for simple, flat, or structural uses.
Price of 201 J3 stainless steel coil
FOB Price (Free On Board): The FOB price for 201 J3 stainless steel coils (hot rolled) starts at approximately $1000 USD/ton, depending on thickness, width, and delivery quantity.
CIF Price (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): The specific CIF price depends on the destination port. Because it includes ocean freight and insurance, the CIF price is usually higher than the FOB price, generally increasing by tens to hundreds of dollars.

Lead Time
| Goods Status | Estimated Lead Time | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Ready Stock | 3 – 7 days | Standard specifications (such as 1000mm, 1219mm widths and common thicknesses). Mainly includes warehouse release and export customs clearance time. |
| Processing Order | 7 – 14 days | Orders requiring processing such as slitting, cutting, or PVC film coating. |
| New Production Order | 15 – 25 days | For non-standard specifications (thickness/width) or bulk orders requiring mill scheduling. |
| Special Surface Treatment (Polishing/Color) | +5 – 7 days | Additional time required for finishing processes such as HL (hairline), 8K mirror polishing, or colored electroplating based on 2B surface. |
Why Choose GNEE?
201 J3 is our high-turnover product. Through large-scale purchasing, we reduce costs and can offer customers lower prices than ordinary traders. Many J3 products on the market have insufficient chromium (Cr) content, leading to rusting. We guarantee that our J3 has a chromium content of over 12.0% and provide an Original Material Certificate (MTC).

Lamination Service: We can provide protective films of various thicknesses (PE/Laser PVC) according to customer needs, ensuring the material is not damaged during bending or welding.
Mixed Batch Service: We support mixed-packaging purchases of 201 J1, J2, and J3 to help small and medium-sized customers reduce inventory pressure.
