SS201 J1 Stainless Steel 2B Finish Coil
Leave a message
201 stainless steel coil, also known as SUS201 stainless steel (Japanese standard), corresponds to 1Cr17Mn6Ni5N under China's GB/T 5216 standard. It belongs to low-nickel, high-manganese austenitic stainless steel. With a nickel content of 0.4%–1.0%, it features relatively weak corrosion resistance and low magnetism, and is mainly used in dry environment applications such as architectural decoration, kitchen utensils, automotive parts, and machinery manufacturing.
201 J1 stainless steel coils are produced using a cold rolling process, with surface finishes available in 2B, BA mirror, or brushed finishes. The thickness range covers 0.01–4.0mm, and processing services such as slitting and stamping are supported. In addition, precision-milled edges ensure smooth and burr-free coil edges, preventing scratches, edge chipping, and other processing defects during fabrication.

GNEE offers flexible coil weight options, with single coil weights ranging from a minimum of 7 tons to a maximum of 11 tons. The coil weight can be adjusted according to customers' bulk purchasing requirements and production scale, meeting both large-scale project supply demands and the reasonable procurement needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, while helping reduce inventory pressure and capital occupation costs.

201 J1 Stainless Steel Coil Application
Deep Drawing: Kitchen sinks, vacuum flasks, pots, and bowls.
Decoration: Elevator cabins, architectural panels, and luxury doors.
Home Appliances: Washing machine tubs, microwave liners.
Hardware: Hinges, brackets, and stamped parts.

201 J1 stainless steel coils vs. 304: Key differences
201 J1 stainless steel coils offer a cost-effective, high-strength alternative to 304, featuring lower nickel (3.5–5.5%) and higher manganese (5.5–7.5%) content. While 304 provides superior corrosion resistance for harsh environments, 201 J1 is ideal for indoor, decorative, and low-cost structural applications.
201 J1 Stainless Steel Coils price per kg
As of May 2026, the price of 201 J1 stainless steel coils typically ranged from $0.85 to $1.60 per kilogram, depending on thickness, finish (2B/BA), and order quantity. Wholesale prices were generally around $1,000 to $1,200 per ton. In the Chinese spot market, such as GNEE, prices were typically lower, with quotes for 201 J1/2B cold-rolled coils sometimes approaching $1,065 per ton (approximately $1.06 per kilogram).

Visualized delivery time monitoring:
(After order confirmation, we will provide a production schedule. You will receive real-time photos of the materials, packaging, and container loading process. Tell us your unloading capacity, and we can adjust the weight per roll, for example, up to 5 tons per roll, to fit your forklift.)

Standard Sea-Worthy Export Packing
Since 201 J1 is frequently used for deep-drawn or decorative products, preventing surface scratches, moisture damage, and edge damage is central to the packaging.
1. Packaging Structure (Layer-by-Layer)
Surface Protection: 2B surfaces are typically covered with a single layer according to customer requirements.
Fixing: 4-6 high-strength steel straps (3 transverse, 3 longitudinal) are used for binding to ensure the rolls do not unravel.
Fumigated wooden pallets or metal pallets are used.
Each pallet typically weighs 3-6 tons for easy container loading and unloading.
