🔹1. Material and standard
Material: 304 stainless steel (Type 304 in American standard ASTM A240/A240M), which is austenitic stainless steel, with chemical composition:
Carbon (C) ≤ 0.07%, chromium (Cr) 18.0-20.0%, nickel (Ni) 8.0-10.5%, manganese (Mn) ≤ 2.0%, silicon (Si) ≤ 1.0%, phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.045%, sulfur (S) ≤ 0.03%.
Implementation standard: in accordance with ASTM A240 (corrosion-resistant chromium and chromium-nickel stainless steel plates, sheets and strips for pressure vessels), GB/T 24511 (Chinese standard for stainless steel plates for pressure equipment) and other international/domestic standards.
🔹2. Specifications
Thickness: 3.0mm (tolerance range is usually ±0.05mm~±0.15mm, depending on production process and standard requirements).
Common sizes:
Standard flat plate: 1219×2438mm (4×8 feet), 1500×3000mm, etc., support customized cutting (such as cutting into specific length and width according to customer needs).
Coil: width 1000-1500mm, coil weight about 5-10 tons, can be flattened into flat plate.
Surface treatment:
Hot rolling (No.1): The surface is rough and has oxide scale, which needs to be removed by pickling or sandblasting, suitable for subsequent processing (such as bending and welding).
Cold rolling (2B): The surface is smooth, silvery white, with high flatness, widely used for decoration or general industrial purposes.
Other processing: mirror polishing (8K, reflectivity ≥85%), brushing (HL, unidirectional texture), frosting, plating, etc.
