SA213 S30432 (Super 304H) is a new 18-8 austenitic stainless steel primarily used in ultra-supercritical boiler superheaters and reheaters with wall temperatures not exceeding 700°C.
ASME SA213 S30432 stainless steel pipe reduces the Mn content of TP304H and adds 3% Cu, 0.45% Nb, and a certain amount of N. This allows the steel to form dispersed precipitates and copper-rich strengthening phases during service. The copper-rich phases, combined with NBC(n), nbcrn, and M23C6, produce an excellent precipitation strengthening effect, significantly increasing the allowable stress at operating temperatures. The allowable stress at 600-650°C is 30% higher than that of TP347H steel. Compared to TP347HFG steel, this steel also offers superior steam oxidation resistance to TP321H steel.
