ASTM A564 Type 630 H1100 Stainless Steel bar

What is A564 type 630 material?
ASTM A564 is a standard material specification for hot-rolled and cold-finished age-hardening stainless steel bars, including type 630 / UNS S17400 / 17-4 PH used for parts requiring corrosion resistance and high strength at room temperature, or at temperatures up to 600°F [315°C].

What is H1100 material?
Stainless Steel 17-4 H1100 is a precipitation-hardening martensitic Stainless Steel, which has corrosion resistance comparable to austenitic varieties. Our H1100 has been heat-treated to a minimum tensile strength of 140ksi, yield strength of 115ksi, an elongation in 2in of 14%, and a reduction of area of 45%.

What is the difference between H900 and H1100?
The H900 condition using solution annealing, rapid quenching, and aging generates a predominantly martensitic microstructure that maximizes strength and hardness. H1100 treatment creates some ferrite fraction by slightly slower cooling, enhancing toughness.

GNEE supplies 17-4PH stainless steel bars, including: ASTM A564 TP630 rectangular bars, which can be easily welded and machined using conventional methods and are supplied in the solution annealed condition. A564 GR 630 hexagonal bars are not recommended for low-temperature applications above 572 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 300 degrees Celsius). If stains on the ASTM A564 Grade 630 bright bars are difficult to remove, a stiff brush or stainless steel brush can be used for cleaning. We manufacture ASTM A564 GR 630 hollow bars and supply them to various customers in different industries.
