ASTM A789 UNS S31803 Duplex Stainless Steel Tubes

Duplex 2205 seamless pipe is a duplex (austenite-ferrite) stainless steel seamless pipe with excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. It is widely used in chemical industry, petroleum, marine engineering and other fields.
Its main features are that it contains about 40-50% ferrite and has good corrosion resistance, chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance and high strength in the annealed state. Compared with 316/316L and 317L stainless steel, 2205 stainless steel has better corrosion resistance. In addition, 2205 stainless steel also has excellent processing and welding properties, and is easy to process into seamless pipes of various shapes and sizes.
It is important to note that 2205 seamless pipe is not recommended for service temperatures above 600°F, while its notch impact toughness needs to be considered when used at temperatures below -40°F.
