Stainless Steel 410 Polished Pipe (also known as 410 Stainless Steel or SUS410) is a martensitic stainless steel with a high carbon content and good hardness and wear resistance.
410 SS Thick Wall Pipe Advantages:
High Hardness: 410 Stainless Steel Pipe can achieve a high hardness after heat treatment, so it has good wear resistance.
Moderate Corrosion Resistance: Under general environment, 410 SS Round Pipe has a certain corrosion resistance and is suitable for some occasions where corrosion resistance is not required.
Low Cost: Compared with other types of stainless steel, the cost of stainless steel 410 pipe is relatively low and suitable for large-scale applications.
SS 410 Seamless Pipe Disadvantages:
Limited Corrosion Resistance: Compared with austenitic stainless steels such as 304 and 316, 410 martensitic stainless steel pipe has relatively poor corrosion resistance, especially in humid or corrosive environments.
Poor Toughness: Due to the high carbon content of 410 stainless steel BA pipe, its toughness is relatively poor and it is easy to break when impacted.
Application of SUS410 stainless steel seamless pipe
1. Tools and blades: With excellent hardness and wear resistance, it is often used to manufacture tools and blades, such as cutting tools, blades, etc. These tools are usually used to process hard materials or workpieces that require high wear resistance.
2. Bearings and parts: With high hardness and strength in the solid state, it is often used to manufacture bearings and other mechanical parts to meet the requirements of material strength and wear resistance.
3. Valves and pipes: In some occasions where corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance are required, it is often used to manufacture valves, pipes and other equipment that requires corrosion resistance.
4. Tool boxes and hardware: With good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, it is often used to manufacture various tool boxes, hardware and mechanical parts to meet industrial and household needs.
