TP316N Stainless steel welded pipe for heat exchanger

ASME SA-249 (welded austenitic steel pipes for boilers, superheaters and heat exchangers), ASTM A312 (seamless and welded austenitic stainless steel pipes), meet the requirements of pressure vessels and high temperature environments.
TP316N Stainless steel welded pipe for heat exchanger is based on 316L, with nitrogen (N content 0.10-0.16%) added to strengthen it to form an austenitic structure, with both high strength and corrosion resistance.

ASME SA-249 TP316N Stainless steel welded pipe Chemical composition

ASME SA-249 TP316N welded pipe Features
Corrosion resistance: Cl⁻ pitting resistance is better than 316L, suitable for highly corrosive environments such as seawater and chemical solutions. Outstanding oxidation resistance and creep resistance at high temperatures (≤450℃).
Mechanical properties: Tensile strength ≥629 MPa, elongation ≥73%, both high strength and high plasticity. No heat treatment is required after welding to maintain stable performance.
Processability: TIG welding, laser welding and other processes are used, with high weld quality, suitable for complex heat exchanger structures. The surface can be polished or pickled to reduce the risk of scaling.

ASME SA-249 TP316N boiler tube application
Heat exchanger: chemical reactor jacket, power station condenser, seawater desalination unit, etc.
Petrochemical: H₂S/CO₂ crude oil transportation, refinery distillation tower pipeline.
Marine engineering: submarine oil and gas pipelines, offshore platform seawater circulation system.
Pharmaceutical and food: purified water, corrosive liquid transportation, in compliance with GMP/ASME BPE standards.
