This minimizes the risk of intergranular corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and premature failure during service.
 
Compared to 304 seamless pipes, TP304 ERW pipes typically reduce material costs by 20%–30%. Since ERW steel pipes are formed from precision cold-rolled stainless steel strips, their wall thickness uniformity and concentricity are generally superior to those of seamless steel pipes.
