What is the chemical composition of SS 316L tube?

SS 316L pipe chemical composition includes elements such as carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni) and molybdenum (Mo). ‌
The content of carbon (C) should be ≤0.030%.
The content of silicon (Si) should be ≤1.00%.
The content of manganese (Mn) should be ≤2.00%.
The content of sulfur (S) should be ≤0.030%.
The content of phosphorus (P) should be ≤0.045%.
The content of chromium (Cr) should be between 16.00% and 18.00%.
The content of nickel (Ni) should be between 10.00% and 14.00%.
The content of molybdenum (Mo) should be between 2.00% and 3.00%. SS 316L is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel that contains an appropriate amount of molybdenum to improve the overall corrosion resistance, especially to improve its pitting resistance to chloride ion solutions. The addition of molybdenum also improves strength at high temperatures.
In addition, SS 316L is an ultra-low carbon version of SS 316, which minimizes harmful carbide precipitation during welding, thereby improving its corrosion resistance. Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, SS 316L is widely used in the chemical industry.

GNEE uses the base materials of famous domestic and foreign brands, strictly controls the production process and adopts heat treatment and other technical processes. The low roughness and high cleanliness of the bright surface make our pipe quality widely recognized by customers. The material is divided into: 304L, 316L, the specifications are British 1/8"-6", Japanese 10A-300A, American DN6-DN300, the company's mass-produced high-purity clean pipes and fittings (BA, EP) have specifications: 316L 1/4"-3", etc., as well as services and customers.
