316L stainless steel has a low carbon content, which helps to enhance its corrosion resistance and resistance to intergranular corrosion. Especially in highly corrosive environments, such as chemical and papermaking industries, it is more ideal to use low-carbon 316L stainless steel. The carbon content of ordinary grade 316 stainless steel is relatively high and is suitable for general corrosion resistance environments.
