How is the quality of 441 stainless steel ensured?

Will Type 441 stainless steel bars crack after welding?

If the welding process is performed properly, Type 441 stainless steel bars typically do not crack after welding. The 441 stainless steel bars supplied by GNEE generally do not crack after welding under normal conditions. Thanks to the addition of titanium and niobium for stabilization, the material resists intergranular corrosion and sensitization in the weld zone, which eliminates the need for post-weld heat treatment. However, grain growth can still lead to a loss of toughness in the heat-affected zone.
