Corrosion resistance:
Good corrosion resistance to air, fresh water, most acids (such as nitric acid) and weak alkali, but sensitive to chloride-containing environments (pitting or stress corrosion may occur).

Advantages of 1.4301 structural stainless steel plate
Balance of strength and toughness:
Suitable for load-bearing structures (such as building frames, bridge supports), while also having impact resistance.
Weldability:
Conventional welding methods such as TIG and MIG can be used, and the recommended welding wire is ER308 or ER308L.
No heat treatment is required after welding (unless the thickness is greater than 50mm and stress relief is required).
High temperature resistance:
The short-term use temperature can reach 1000℃, and the long-term continuous use is recommended to be ≤870℃.
Avoid long-term stay in the 425-860℃ range (easy precipitation of carbides reduces corrosion resistance).

Surface treatment:
No.1 (hot rolling + pickling): industrial use, corrosion resistance.
2B (cold rolled + bright annealed): smooth surface, suitable for decoration.
8K mirror: high reflectivity, used for high-end equipment.

Applications of 1.4301 stainless steel plates:
Construction: curtain walls, roofs, load-bearing brackets.
Industry: pressure vessels, chemical equipment, food machinery.
Marine: dock facilities (surface treatment is required to enhance seawater corrosion resistance).
Machinery: bolts, flanges, springs and other parts.

GNEE supply specifications
