Products Description
Weld concentric reducers, as their name implies, reduce in diameter towards the center thus forming a conical cylinder. A concentric reducer is often used inline on a vertical flow application, or if laid horizontally, as an increaser. We do not recommend reducing in the horizontal as pooling may occur. In these cases, an eccentric reducer, which lays flat on one side is preferable. Concentric reducers have a lower chance of producing agitation like an end cap reducer may.

1.4568 1.4567 Stainless Steel Pipe Reducer
1.4568 Stainless steel from the group of age-hardened PH with the highest content of Chromium – 17% and Nickel – 7% in relation to PH of grades 15-5 and 17-4. It has excellent strength properties, high hardness and elasticity, good corrosion resistance and resistance to high temperatures and deformation.
The austenitic material 1.4567, which is comparable to both AISI 302 HQ and AISI 304 Cu, is a chromium-nickel stainless steel. It differs from the otherwise similar material 1.4301 / AISI 304 in its copper content of 3-4 %, which contributes to the fact that stainless steel 1.4567 is ideally suited for cold forming. It can also be used at low temperatures.The material 1.4567 has good forging properties and good corrosion resistance (but not to salt water). It is used, among other things, in the automotive industry and for the production of screws.
