What is the maximum operating temperature of TP409?
Continuous operating temperature: Up to 650°C (1200°F).
Intermittent operating temperature: Up to 815°C (1500°F).
Within this temperature range, its ability to form an oxidation-resistant scale is superior to that of carbon steel and certain low-alloy steels.
What welding consumables are recommended for TP409?

Packaging
Hexagonal Bundling: Small-diameter pipes are typically bundled in a hexagonal shape and secured with steel straps. Protective padding (such as paper or rubber) should be placed between the steel straps and the pipes to prevent scratching.
Wooden Cases: Recommended for seamless pipes (especially heat exchanger tubes). Wooden cases effectively prevent the pipes from bending or deforming during lifting and handling.
