ASTM A213 TP304L Stainless Steel U Bend Tube For Heat Exchanger
Leave a message
ASTM A213 TP304L Stainless Steel U Bend Tube for a Heat Exchanger is a seamless stainless steel tube manufactured to the ASTM A213 standard, made from TP304L austenitic stainless steel, bent into a U-shape, and used in heat exchangers for its high corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and efficient heat transfer properties. The TP304L grade has a low carbon content (L-grade), which provides enhanced corrosion resistance against sensitization, making it suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure applications in industries like petrochemicals, power generation, and food processing.
Advantages of ASTM A213 TP304L Stainless Steel U-Bend Tubes for Heat Exchangers
High-Temperature Performance:Designed for elevated temperatures, these U-bend tubes maintain structural integrity and corrosion resistance in continuous service up to 850–900°C (1562–1652°F), making them ideal for steam condensation and thermal oil systems.
Seamless Construction & Precision Bending:Manufactured using a seamless process and precision cold bending techniques (with mandrel support to minimize wall thinning and ovality), ensuring uniform wall thickness, smooth bends, and reliable performance under thermal cycling.
Thermal Expansion Compatibility:The U-bend design allows natural expansion and contraction of the tube bundle relative to the tube sheet or shell without inducing stress, critical for long-term reliability in high-temperature cycling operations.

PACKAGING
All tubing shall be packaged and blocked in such a manner as to prevent damage in ordinary handling and transportation. The boxes shall be constructed in such a manner that no nails, staples, screws, or similar fasteners are required to close and secure the box after the tubes have been placed in the box. The box shall be lined with plastic sheet or vapor barrier materials so as to prevent chloride contamination of the tube during handling, transportation, and storage.
