GNEE offers high-quality Alloy 254 stainless steel tubing, backed by over a decade of experience supplying premium stainless steel products globally. Our products are exported to over 50 countries and regions, with an annual export volume exceeding 2,000 tons, and we are supported by strong international certifications such as ISO 9001, PED, and NACE MR0175.
GNEE's Alloy 254 stainless steel tubing is specifically designed for demanding applications in industries like chemical processing, petrochemical, and marine environments. Each batch of tubing undergoes spectral analysis to ensure the Mo content remains stable between 6.0%-6.5%, with the PREN value (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) strictly maintained at ≥42.5. Our tubes are fully traceable, ensuring 100% compliance with international standards.
All Alloy 254 tubes are subjected to high-temperature solution annealing at 1150°C or higher, followed by rapid cooling, to completely eliminate internal stresses and precipitate phases, restoring the material's optimal corrosion resistance. Alloy 254 instrumentation tubing requires extremely high internal surface cleanliness and outer diameter tolerance to ensure tight fitting with ferrule connections. We control the outer diameter tolerance within ±0.2% and the wall thickness tolerance within ±10%, with internal surface roughness maintained at Ra < 0.6 μm.

Welding Alloy 254 tubing requires strict control, and we not only provide the materials but also offer recommendations for compatible Alloy 625 welding consumables and welding parameters to prevent issues such as weld cracking or corrosion failure on your construction site.

1. Delivery Lead Time
GNEE provides a tiered delivery schedule based on the order type:
Stock Items: 3 – 7 working days.
Applies to: Standard instrumentation sizes (e.g., 1/4", 1/2", 6mm, 12mm OD) in seamless form. Includes time for final PMI testing and packaging.
Production Orders: 15 – 25 working days.
Applies to: Specific wall thicknesses or small-to-medium batches requiring cold-drawing, solution annealing, and pickling.
Large Projects / Custom Specifications: 35 – 50 working days.
Applies to: Bulk quantities (over 5 tons) or custom dimensions (non-standard diameters/lengths) requiring raw material (mother pipe) procurement from the mill.
Packaging
For Alloy 254, we use High-Level Protective Packaging to ensure the tubing arrives with zero scratches, dents, or contamination.
A. Internal Protection (Inside the box):
End Protection: Each tube end is sealed with Plastic Caps (Blue or Red) to prevent dust and debris ingress.
Surface Wrapping: Each tube is individually wrapped in PE (Polyethylene) film or sleeved in a plastic bag to prevent metal-to-metal contact.
Bundling: Tubes are bundled with textile belts (non-metallic) to avoid carbon steel contamination.
B. External Packaging (Outer):
Standard Export Wooden Case: IPPC-treated (fumigated) plywood boxes.
Reinforcement: The box is reinforced with galvanized steel straps and corner protectors.
Moisture Barrier: The interior of the wooden box is lined with waterproof plastic sheeting for sea freight.
