SUS410 stainless steel annealed plate is a martensitic stainless steel plate with good machinability and moderate corrosion resistance after annealing treatment. It contains Carbon (C) ≤0.15% and Chromium (Cr) 11.5–13.5%, contains no nickel, and is magnetic. Through annealing treatment (usually slow cooling at 750–900℃), the material obtains a uniform microstructure, the hardness is reduced to approximately below 201HB, and the cold forming capability is significantly improved. It also features high thermal conductivity, a low thermal expansion coefficient, and excellent oxidation resistance and stress corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in high-temperature environments (≤550℃).
We can provide both hot-rolled and cold-rolled SUS410 stainless steel plates, with a thickness range of 0.3–100 mm (cold rolled: 0.3–3.0 mm; hot rolled: 3.0–100 mm), width of 1000–2200 mm, and length of 2000–6000 mm (customizable up to 12 meters). Products comply with international standards such as ASTM A240, JIS G4305, and EN 10088, and each batch can be supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate (MTC).

Can SUS410 annealed plate be hardened?
SUS410 stainless steel plate can further improve hardness through quenching and tempering (up to HRC 45–50), and is often used as tool steel. However, during welding, preheating to 250–300℃ is required, followed by stress-relief annealing at 700–750℃ after welding to prevent cracking.
Is SUS410 annealed steel prone to cracking when bent?
In the annealed state, it has good ductility and can be bent to a moderate degree. However, if the bending radius is too small, due to its martensitic matrix, it is still more prone to cracking than 304. It is recommended to keep the bending radius R at least 1-2 times the thickness of the plate.
Is SUS410 prone to rusting?
Compared to carbon steel, it is very rust-resistant; however, it will rust if exposed to humid, salt spray, or strong acid environments for extended periods. If extremely high aesthetic requirements are placed and heat treatment polishing is not planned, 304 or 316 are recommended.
What are the main uses of SUS410 annealed steel sheets?
Mechanical parts: Pump shafts, valve components, fasteners.
Industrial equipment: Screens, wear-resistant liners.
Automotive parts: Brake discs, exhaust pipe components.

GNEE maintains a large inventory of stainless steel, typically stocking both thin sheets (cold-rolled 0.3mm-3.0mm) and medium-thick sheets (hot-rolled 3.0mm and above). We offer various surface finishes including 2B, NO.1, BA, mirror (8K), and brushed (HL).

We are also equipped with laser cutting, waterjet cutting, plasma cutting, and CNC shearing machines, enabling us to provide cut parts according to drawings. We can slit stainless steel coils to customer-specified widths or cut them into sheets of specific lengths.

Bending process
Each batch of SUS410 annealed sheets comes with an MTC (Mill Test Certificate) material report, detailing the chemical composition and mechanical properties.

For packaging and transportation, all stainless steel sheets are treated for moisture resistance and securely sealed using methods such as wooden crates, pallets, or bubble wrap. The packaging is robust to prevent damage during transport and can be customized according to regulations and customer requirements. Furthermore, clear labels are affixed to the exterior of the product packaging for easy identification of product and quality information.
