X2CrNi19-11(1.4306)VS. X2CrNi18-9(1.4307)
Leave a message
X2CrNi19-11 (EN 1.4306) and X2CrNi18-9 (EN 1.4307) are both low-carbon austenitic stainless steels commonly known as 304L variants. While 1.4307 is the standard low-carbon 304L grade, 1.4306 contains higher nickel content (10–13%) for improved corrosion resistance, especially in welded or aggressive environments. Both offer excellent weldability, but 1.4306 is preferred in pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries where enhanced corrosion performance is critical.
